Jangsu Health and Medical Center Operates Day Rehabilitation Program for Patients with Mental Illness
The Jangsu County Health and Medical Center Mental Health Welfare Center is conducting a weekly rehabilitation program for mental illness patients targeting about 40 consenting community-based mental health patients in the area.

The Mental Health Welfare Center provides various programs necessary for daily life to alleviate mental illness, improve community adaptation skills, and help overcome functional and social disabilities of mental illness patients.
Since the 7th, as part of practicing social distancing in daily life due to COVID-19, the center has been conducting psychiatric medication and symptom management education, stress coping education, interpersonal relationship improvement, and daily living skills training twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) for home-based mental illness patients in the district, while adhering to preventive measures such as mask-wearing, hand sanitizing, and temperature checks.
By inviting external professional instructors, the center offers various therapeutic programs including music, art, horticulture, tea ceremony, cookie making, and outdoor activities.
