SugenTech Supplies COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits to Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and Others
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] SuzenTech announced on the 7th that it will supply rapid diagnostic kits for COVID-19 antibodies to the French luxury brand group Louis Vuitton Group (LVMH), Cartier, and Thales Group, which operates primarily in the defense industry.
Louis Vuitton Group and Cartier plan to purchase the COVID-19 antibody rapid diagnostic kits from SuzenTech and donate them to the French government as part of their social contribution efforts in France, while Thales will purchase the diagnostic kits to use for testing employees of the group and its partner companies.
A SuzenTech official stated, "In a recent clinical trial conducted by France's largest research institute, the accuracy was 97.5%, which is higher than the 94.4% accuracy from the approval clinical trial conducted in Korea, demonstrating excellent accuracy and quality. As a result, supply requests from global companies based in France have been continuously coming in," adding, "Supplying diagnostic kits to these representative groups carries significant symbolic meaning."
He continued, "Since our external credibility has been recognized by global companies, it is highly likely to work favorably in securing additional supply contracts not only in France but also in the European region," and added, "Each country in Europe is conducting clinical trials to verify accuracy, and as the number of countries completing the verification process increases one by one, additional supply requests are expected to continue."
