[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Ma Jaeyoon, head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, personally visited fire-vulnerable sites and wildfire-prone areas to inspect the status of safety management.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 6th, this inspection was conducted to check the current status of fire safety management for locations expected to have a high risk of casualties in case of fire due to increased crowds compared to the ‘social distancing’ period, following the implementation of COVID-19 ‘distancing in daily life’ measures.
Director Ma, along with Jeong Daewon, head of the Boseong Fire Station, visited key management targets such as Boseong Davichi Condo and spring wildfire-vulnerable sites including Ilwolsan Temple and surrounding forest areas to inspect the installation status of firefighting facilities and disaster prevention systems.
He also held a meeting with safety management officers and urged stakeholders to enhance their sense of responsibility regarding fire prevention and initial response safety.
