Hyundai Oilbank Unveils Dinosaur-Motif Character
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyundai Oilbank unveiled three dinosaur-themed characters on the 4th. The new characters were developed to expand customer contact points ahead of the completion of the acquisition process for the operation rights of about 300 SK Networks gas stations.
The three dinosaur characters are named ‘Geo’, ‘Dio’, and ‘Kio’, combining ‘Gasoline’, ‘Diesel’, ‘Kerosene’, and ‘Oilbank’, respectively. Geo represents smart benefits, Dio embodies friendly service, and Kio symbolizes a clean environment.
Kwon Tae-hyung, head of Hyundai Oilbank’s marketing team, said, "By introducing friendly dinosaur characters, we will strengthen communication with fueling customers," adding, "As the number of gas stations where customers can encounter the characters will significantly increase soon, we also expect to enhance brand awareness."
