Hampyeong County Health Center Produces 'Filial Carnations' for Parents' Day
Delivering to 500 Households of Local Health-Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Hampyeong County Health Center in Jeollanam-do (Director Jeong Myeonghui) announced on the 3rd that it will directly make and deliver 'Filial Carnations' in celebration of Parents' Day.
To this end, on the same day, about 10 staff members including Director Jeong Myeonghui of the Hampyeong County Health Center participated in making carnations for the region's health-vulnerable groups.
The carnations will be delivered to 500 households of health-vulnerable groups in the region, including elderly living alone with disabilities, registered dementia patients, and chronic disease patients, by Parents' Day on the 8th.
In particular, in preparation for the ongoing COVID-19 situation, personal hygiene items such as masks and hand sanitizers will also be delivered together.

Jeong Myeonghui, director of the Hampyeong County Health Center, said, "Although physical distance between neighbors has increased due to COVID-19, I hope that the distribution of carnations this time will bring emotional closeness," and added, "We will continue to do our best to manage the health of the elderly who are in blind spots of healthcare."
