COVID-19 New Cases 13·Deaths 0...10 Imported·3 Local Cases (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] A total of 13 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been reported in South Korea. No additional deaths were reported. Among the new confirmed cases, 10 are imported cases and 3 are domestic cases.
On the 3rd, the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) announced that as of midnight, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases increased by 13 from the previous day’s midnight count, reaching 10,793.
According to the CDCH announcement, the daily number of new confirmed cases entered the 10s with 18 cases on the 18th, and has remained below 20 for 16 consecutive days.
Among the 13 new confirmed cases, 10 were tentatively classified as imported cases. Five were detected during quarantine, and one case was confirmed in Daegu, with two cases each in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The three domestic cases all occurred in Daegu.
No deaths were reported on the 2nd. The total number of deaths confirmed in the country remains at 250.

The number of recovered patients who have been released from isolation increased by 60 from the previous day, totaling 9,183 (recovery rate 85.1%).
