On the 30th, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that warm southwesterly winds will cause temperatures in parts of Gyeongbuk and Chungbuk to rise up to 30 degrees Celsius on the 1st, with inland and East Coast areas experiencing temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Administration stated, "Although the daytime temperature will rise and it will be hot, the temperature difference between day and night will be more than 10 degrees, and in some inland areas, more than 15 degrees, so special attention should be paid to health management."
The minimum temperature on the morning of the 1st is forecasted to be between 11 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the maximum daytime temperature between 22 and 33 degrees Celsius. Seoul will range from 16 to 27 degrees, Gangneung and Daejeon 17 to 30 degrees, Daegu 15 to 32 degrees, Gwangju 17 to 28 degrees, Busan 16 to 22 degrees, and Jeju 17 to 26 degrees. Warm and humid air flowing in with the southwesterly wind will create localized rain clouds, bringing about 5mm of rain from dawn to morning on the 1st in northern Gyeonggi and northwestern Gangwon Yeongseo. Some areas in Seoul and Gyeonggi will also experience raindrops.
Except for the West Coast and some parts of the South Coast, a dry weather advisory has been issued nationwide, and the atmosphere is expected to be very dry. From the afternoon of the 1st to the early morning of the 2nd, strong winds will blow in the Gangwon Yeongdong region, so special caution is required to prevent various fires such as wildfires.
