Seodaemun-gu Confirms COVID-19 Case in 20s Indian Student Who Entered on 29th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seodaemun-gu announced on the 29th that a woman in her 20s from India, who entered through Incheon International Airport from India, tested positive for COVID-19 on the morning of the 30th.
The woman, studying abroad at a university located in Seodaemun-gu, was asymptomatic upon arrival on the 29th.
Immediately after arrival, she took a 'designated taxi for overseas arrivals' to the Seodaemun-gu Public Health Center screening clinic for testing, and on the morning of the 30th, she was confirmed positive and transferred to Seoul Seonam Hospital located in Yangcheon-gu.
Until being transferred to the hospital after the test, the foreigner maintained self-quarantine at a house in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu.
