Samsung Semiconductor to Award Record-Breaking Bonuses to Partners
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Samsung Electronics announced on the 29th that it will pay performance bonuses (incentives) worth 80.5 billion KRW to semiconductor partners.
This is the largest amount ever, exceeding last year's 74 billion KRW by more than 5 billion KRW. The incentive recipients are first- and second-tier partners stationed at Samsung Electronics' DS (Device Solutions) division.
This year, more than 80.5 billion KRW will be paid to all stationed partners, including 62 billion KRW paid to 259 small and medium-sized enterprises.

Samsung Electronics has been paying partner incentives since 2010. The incentives consist of productivity bonuses and safety incentives, paid twice a year in January and July.
