Seongnam Mayor Eun Su-mi Joins Relay to Support Flower Farmers

The Flower Bucket Challenge is a relay campaign where flower baskets are gifted to support flower farms whose sales channels have been blocked due to the cancellation of various events such as entrance and graduation ceremonies.
On the 29th at 11:30 a.m., Mayor Eun handed over the challenge baton to Park Yong-hoo, chairman of the Seongnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the mayor's office. Previously, on the 22nd, she received the baton from Lee Mi-kyung, president of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

Eun Su-mi, mayor of Seongnam City, said, "Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the flower industry is unlikely to expect a peak season even during May, the month of family celebrations," and urged, "I ask the Seongnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry to lend their support so that flower farms and small business owners can overcome the COVID-19 crisis."
