Yangcheon-gu Holds 2021 Public-Private Cooperation Agenda Information Sharing Meeting
At the Beginning of This Year, Public and Private Sectors Shared Opinions to Solve Local Issues in 6 Fields and 13 Projects Excavated Together
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) announced that it is currently holding six information-sharing meetings from April 22, where residents and administration meet together to coordinate opinions on the public-private governance agenda to be promoted in 2021, which was identified earlier this year.
From January to March this year, the district discovered 190 agenda items through discussions, its website, YouTube, and other channels to solve local issues.
Accordingly, the district classified the discovered agendas into six categories and 13 projects, and plans to hold the 2021 public-private governance agenda information-sharing meetings, where proposers, officials, and local residents will share their thoughts and opinions on each project and draft the projects to be jointly promoted by the public and private sectors.
The major discovered projects include citizen proposals addressing parking problems and illegal dumping prevention, as well as various agendas that will bring changes to Yangcheon-gu, such as support projects for single-person households, revitalization of alleyways, community activation, creating a smart pedestrian-centered safe Yangcheon, and establishing healing forest trails.
Through the 2021 public-private governance agenda information-sharing meetings, the district plans to reflect the opinions shared and hold the Yangcheon Value Plaza public forum in June to select the public-private governance projects to be promoted in 2021.
