Min Young-don, President of Chosun University, Participates in 'COVID-19 Hope Campaign Relay'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Min Young-don, President of Chosun University, delivered a message of support to medical staff and citizens on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis through the "Hope Campaign Relay to Overcome COVID-19."
The Hope Campaign Relay began with Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon to convey hope to medical personnel, quarantine authorities, and many people in South Korea struggling due to the COVID-19 situation. It is an SNS national campaign where the nominated person recommends three others in turn.
President Min Young-don participated in this relay campaign on the 24th after being nominated by Joo Myung-hyun, Chairman of the Private School Teachers' Pension Corporation.
On the afternoon of the 27th, President Min took a photo in his office holding a placard that read, "#CheerUp! Republic of Korea!! #CheerUp! Medical Staff!! #Let'sOvercome! United!! Overcoming COVID-19, Chosun University is with you." The photo was posted on Chosun University's official SNS.
President Min nominated Lee Jung-woo, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, Jeong Dae-hwa, President of Sangji University, and Kim Hyuk-jong, President of Gwangju University, as the next campaign participants.
