Shinhan Bank Launches 'Sol Gifting Service' for Exchanging Financial Product Gifts
[Asia Economy Reporter Haeyoung Kwon] Shinhan Bank launched the mobile platform 'SOL Gifting Service,' which allows users to send and receive financial products as gifts, on the 28th.
Previously, Shinhan Bank introduced the banking industry's first gift-concept financial product with the 'SOL Convenient Gift Savings.' This time, through the SOL Gifting Service, the bank has developed the financial product gifting service into a platform.
By using this service, users can simply enter the recipient's phone number and name to easily send gifts such as savings, currency exchange, and gold bars. Messages expressing gratitude, congratulations, and other sentiments can also be delivered together. Notably, the savings products that can be gifted with the first deposit have expanded significantly from the existing SOL Convenient Gift Savings to include four additional products: My Home Plan Subscription Savings, SOL Convenient 3-Day Resolution Savings, SOL Play Savings, and Shinhan First Salary Dream (DREAM) Savings.
To commemorate the launch of the SOL Gifting Service, Shinhan Bank is also holding a customer event. Until the end of May, the first 40,000 customers who gift savings products will be entered into a roulette draw to win prizes such as BBQ chicken, board games, and Starbucks Americano. During the event period, customers who use the 'Gift Request' feature will receive KakaoTalk emoticons daily, limited to the first 300 customers each day.
