On the 28th, Kim and about 30 members of the Nonghyup Financial volunteer group visited Wangdaechu Village in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province. They directly visited farms struggling with labor shortages to carry out various activities such as removing weeds from potato fields, making gochujang, and cleaning the village environment, while listening to the difficulties faced on site and sharing the hardships of farmers.
During a luncheon and meeting with village residents that day, Chairman Kim Kwangsoo said, "Over the past eight years, through various exchange activities with sister villages including labor assistance, promoting agricultural product consumption, and making kimchi for kimjang, all NH Nonghyup Financial employees have been able to engrave the spirit of farming in their hearts. Going forward, NH Nonghyup Financial will continue to spare no support to alleviate the difficulties of farms suffering from the double hardship of COVID-19 and labor shortages."
