KT Launches Kidsland Club... Up to 50% Discount
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT announced on the 29th that it will launch the ‘KT Kidsland Club,’ a customized customer benefit program for families with infants and toddlers, in celebration of ‘Family Month,’ and will hold the online early childhood education exhibition ‘Kidsland Festival.’
KT Kidsland Club is an exclusive Olleh TV customer benefit program that offers discounts of up to 50% on 12 premium kids brands. It is the first kids-tailored partnership service introduced in the IPTV industry.
The Kidsland Club is composed of three themes: ▲solving nationwide outings ▲supporting online shopping ▲customized ‘Mompa’ life, providing differentiated brand partnership benefits for families with infants and toddlers. To this end, KT has partnered with businesses offering products and services frequently used by families with children, such as kids cafes, aquariums, theme parks, water parks, online shopping malls, magazines, child psychology counseling, and family photography. Special emphasis was placed on cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises that have been struggling due to COVID-19. KT plans to continue adding partners until the end of the year.
Olleh TV families with infants and toddlers can enjoy unlimited discount benefits from the 29th until the end of this year without separate membership registration or point deductions. To use the Kidsland Club, users need to download the ‘KT Kidsland’ app on their mobile devices, set up ‘Connect with Olleh TV,’ and then download partner coupons from the ‘Kidsland Club’ menu. KT will hold the ‘Kidsland Festival’ on the KT website from the 29th until the end of May. This year, the early childhood education exhibition, which was held offline every year, will be conducted online in an untact (contactless) manner.
Customers participating in the Kidsland Festival can freely experience about 20 premium Kidsland contents provided by Olleh TV and receive various prizes such as KakaoTalk emoticons. Major content available for experience at the Kidsland Festival includes English content videos based on the U.S. public school curriculum such as ‘Scholastic,’ ‘Super Simple Songs,’ and ‘Nobuyoung (Singing English).’
Additionally, new episode videos of representative domestic character contents such as ‘Pinkfong Baby Shark Oli’ and ‘KrongKrong Space Chaos’ will be unveiled for the first time in Korea at the Kidsland Festival. This exhibition is open to everyone regardless of their telecommunications provider, not just Olleh TV customers.
In celebration of Family Month in May, KT will exclusively live broadcast five children’s musicals on Olleh TV. Every Sunday at 2 PM, the following children’s musicals will be performed without an audience: ▲Short-necked Giraffe Jippy ▲Fabre’s Insect Chronicles Season 1: Honeybee Country Adventure ▲Frenju Season 2: The Mysterious Flashlight ▲Hufungseoni Science Show Edison vs. Jang Yeong-sil ▲Little Musician. These musicals were carefully selected, focusing on works that have won major domestic and international musical awards. Customers who reserve and purchase these children’s musicals on Olleh TV can watch the live broadcast and keep the VOD for 4,950 KRW (VAT included) per show.
