Youth Empathy Talk 'Jibeseo Annyeongdeul Hangayo?'
Yangcheon-gu Operates 'Online Youth Counseling Content' Addressing Youth Concerns Like Career, Bullying, and Romantic Relationships... Available from the 30th on Yangcheon-gu Office Official YouTube 'YangcheonTV'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) operates an ‘Online Youth Counseling Content’ to share the concerns of teenagers and provide a healthy healing time.
Yangcheon-gu originally prepared a large-scale special lecture for youth, but planned online content that teenagers can enjoy at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Although the COVID-19 situation has somewhat entered a calming phase, this is to maintain vigilance for the time being.
The program is titled 'Are You Doing Well at Home?' and proceeds by receiving students’ stories in advance and having online panelists discuss them together. Episode 1 covers ‘Conflicts with parents related to career and college entrance,’ Episode 2 covers ‘Friendship and bullying,’ and Episode 3 covers ‘Romantic relationships’ as the topics.
The online content panelists include MC Son Dae-min, a youth counselor and actor; Mr. Kwak Sang-hak, a youth counseling expert who worked as a teacher in Yangcheon-gu for 20 years; and ‘Midongi’ Lee Mi-hyun, a teenage YouTuber representing youth. The three panelists will provide healing and fun by solving concerns with cheerful wit.
The videos can be viewed on Yangcheon-gu Office’s official YouTube channel ‘YangcheonTV’ starting from the 30th.
Mayor Kim Soo-young explained, “Our youth must have many concerns about their studies and daily lives due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” adding, “It will be a healthy healing time where anyone can relate to the concerns of teenagers, watch them online anytime, relieve academic stress, and share emotions with peers.”
