Gyeongnam Province Smoothly Supports Emergency Disaster Relief Funds
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 27th that the 'Gyeongsangnam-do Emergency Disaster Relief Fund' is being distributed smoothly.
Since the 23rd, the province has distributed 10.1 billion KRW in emergency disaster relief funds to approximately 32,800 households over two days, which accounts for 6.295% of the total 521,000 eligible households.
Each local government in the province notified applicants by mail starting on the 23rd, ensuring smooth distribution of the relief funds at the city and county levels. The highest application rate was in Goseong-gun, where 43% of eligible households applied.
For residents subject to the 5-day rotation system who did not receive the mail notification, they can bring their ID and visit the eup/myeon/dong community service center to receive the relief fund immediately on-site.
