[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] Jinan-gun announced on the 27th that the move-in for the Atopy Healing Village is scheduled to begin on the 25th of next month, and they are putting all efforts into the finishing construction.
The Atopy Healing Village is being built as an eco-friendly wooden duplex structure for a total of 12 households in Bonghak-ri, Jeongcheon-myeon, Jinan-gun.
The project is being promoted with a total budget of 4.3 billion KRW, of which 2.5 billion KRW is supported by K-water (Yongdam Dam Management Office).
Jinan-gun plans to hold a briefing session and a household allocation lottery for prospective residents of the Atopy Healing Village on-site on the 9th of next month, ahead of the village's completion.
Currently, there are 13 families who have applied to move into the Atopy Healing Village. Among them, one family has already relocated to Jeongcheon-myeon, and three families have withdrawn, leaving nine families finally selected. Jinan-gun is continuously recruiting the remaining three households on a first-come, first-served basis.
Eligibility requires families of atopy patients who are currently enrolled or expected to enroll in the Atopy Safe Schools (Jorim Elementary School Attached Kindergarten, Jorim Elementary School, Bugui Middle School), with mandatory relocation to Jinan-gun and co-residence with a guardian.
Applications can be submitted online through the Jinan-gun Health Center website (in-person or mail applications are not accepted), and selected applicants will be notified individually.
The rent per household is a deposit of 3 million KRW and a monthly fee of 200,000 KRW.
