'In the Mood for Love' Yoo Ji-tae, Lee Bo-young Kneeling Before Park Si-yeon, Grabs Wrist and Says "Get Up!" (Summary)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the afternoon of the 26th, tvN's "Hwayangyeonhwa - The Moment Life Becomes a Flower" aired a scene where Yoo Ji-tae holds Lee Bo-young's hand in front of Park Si-yeon.
At the train station, Han Jae-hyun (Yoo Ji-tae) and Yoon Ji-soo (Lee Bo-young) reunite. To the tearful Yoon Ji-soo, Han Jae-hyun says, "I should have found you earlier. It's too late." Yoon Ji-soo replies, "What are you talking about finding? We were just over." Han Jae-hyun responds, "How could I not look for you? Why did you hide like that back then? I both understood and resented it. Parting helplessly without any way to reach you has been a thorn in my side my whole life."
College student Ji-soo (Jeon So-ni) ties the handkerchief that Jae-hyun (Jin Young) used to bandage his injured hand around her head. At that moment, Jae-hyun (Jin Young) appears before her and approaches saying, "That looks like mine." Then Jae-hyun says, "I found you. Yoon Ji-soo." Ji-soo is surprised. Jae-hyun says it’s an expensive handkerchief and a gift from his mother for school admission. Surprised Ji-soo hands over the handkerchief, and Jae-hyun advises, "Stop hanging around other people's study rooms and focus on studying."
Due to the heavy snowfall, Han Jae-hyun and Yoon Ji-soo spend the night at a guesthouse as they cannot go home. Yoon Ji-soo draws a line with Han Jae-hyun, who tries to get close to her, saying, "This kind of conversation is uncomfortable. I want to end it as just fellow parents from the same school. It’s awkward to hear old stories I barely remember."
Jang Seo-kyung (Park Si-yeon) explodes with anger over Han Jae-hyun’s leniency toward Yoon Ji-soo’s son. When Han Jae-hyun says, "It’s not a big deal. He’s still a kid," Jang Seo-kyung replies, "That’s why it’s more problematic." Han Jae-hyun tries to move past it by saying, "Check Jun-seo (Park Min-soo) first. See if he did anything wrong," but Jang Seo-kyung shouts, "I don’t care even if he did." Han Jae-hyun warns, "That will only ruin Jun-seo."
Meanwhile, Yoon Ji-soo is asked by fellow parents at the school to resign from the parent representative position. They mention her divorce and working at a supermarket, saying she is not on the same level. Yoon Ji-soo responds, "It was tough, but that’s fine. I will speak to the school."
Han Jae-hyun discusses the irregular workers’ issue, which has been protested for nearly a month, with Executive Director Park. While Park insists on following the law, Han Jae-hyun instructs him to come up with a clear plan, noting that the protesters are housewives in their 40s and 50s peacefully demonstrating. Han Jae-hyun feels troubled seeing Yoon Ji-soo among the protesters, and Yoon Ji-soo also feels heavy-hearted seeing Han Jae-hyun featured in a magazine as a wealthy heir of the Hyungseong Group.
Jang Seo-kyung visits the principal and demands, "I will never agree to any settlement," requesting a school violence committee meeting. When the principal is hesitant, Jang Seo-kyung persuades him by mentioning donations. Yoon Ji-soo is informed by Teacher Dam-in that the school violence committee will be held. Yoon Ji-soo goes to the school and kneels before Jang Seo-kyung, saying, "Take out your anger on me."
At that moment, Han Jae-hyun appears and says, "Stand up. Stand up, Yoon Ji-soo!" He grabs Yoon Ji-soo’s hand and helps her up from her kneeling position.
