[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) is recruiting companies to participate in 'Open Innovation' from April 27 to May 25, in collaboration with the Korea International Trade Association, to revitalize startups struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The Gangnam-gu-Startup Open Innovation is the first of its kind nationwide in the field of autonomous administration, aiming to discover promising startups with innovative ideas and technologies that enhance residents' convenience in areas such as transportation, disaster safety, cleaning, and environment, and to implement them in actual administration.
The district plans to select startups with excellent proposals and provide support through the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' export voucher program and various collaboration opportunities.
Applications must be submitted through the Open Innovation website (innobranch.com).
