'Google CEO' Last Year's Bonus Alone 330 Billion Won... 1085 Times Employee Salary
[Asia Economy Reporter Koh Hyung-kwang] Sundar Pichai (47), CEO of Alphabet and Google, received a bonus of $281 million (approximately 337.2 billion KRW) last year, Bloomberg reported on the 24th (local time).
According to the regular report released by Alphabet, Google's parent company, Pichai's bonus last year amounted to 337.2 billion KRW. Most of the bonus was received in stock. Bloomberg analyzed that the bonus Pichai received was 1,085 times the average total salary of Alphabet employees.

Excluding the bonus, Pichai's pure annual salary last year was $650,000 (approximately 780 million KRW). It is reported that Pichai's salary this year will increase to $2 million (2.4 billion KRW). Since the end of last year, Pichai has been serving as CEO of Alphabet, the parent company, in addition to Google.
