Airline Pilot on Unpaid Leave Due to COVID-19 Found Dead at Home

The Goyang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that at around 5:55 p.m. on the 22nd, a man in his 50s, Mr. A, was found bleeding and collapsed in the bathroom of an apartment in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
When the 119 emergency medical team arrived at the scene after receiving a report from his wife, who was the first to discover him, Mr. A was already confirmed dead.
Mr. A was a pilot working for a domestic airline and was reportedly on unpaid leave recently due to the impact of COVID-19.
According to the police investigation, Mr. A was experiencing difficulties related to stock investment losses and promotion issues.
The police judged that the possibility of a crime was low as there were no signs of intrusion by others.
