KOSPI Recovers to 1900 Level... KOSDAQ Also Slightly Rises

As of 9:13 a.m. that day, the KOSPI stood at 1906.61, up 10.46 points (0.55%) compared to the previous trading day.
The KOSPI opened at 1907.45, up 11.30 points (0.60%) from the previous close, maintaining its strong performance.
In the securities market, individual and foreign investors net bought 132.8 billion KRW and 18.2 billion KRW respectively, while institutions net sold 152.6 billion KRW.
By sector, textiles and apparel (1.06%), medical precision (0.94%), and electric and gas utilities (2.45%) rose, while non-metallic minerals (0.74%) and construction (0.48%) declined.
Among the top 10 companies by market capitalization, NAVER (3.57%), LG Household & Health Care (1.2%), and Hyundai Motor (1.19%) rose, while SK Hynix (0.6%) and Samsung Biologics (0.17%) fell.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index also rose 5.51 points (0.87%) to 640.670 compared to the previous close.
The KOSDAQ opened at 640.13, up 4.97 points (0.78%) from the previous trading day, continuing its upward trend.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals net bought 72.7 billion KRW, while foreign and institutional investors net sold 45.5 billion KRW and 13 billion KRW respectively.
By sector, telecommunications equipment (1.7%) and semiconductors (1.17%) rose, while broadcasting services (0.68%) declined.
