Gangdong-gu Hosts 'Visiting Healing Concert'
On the 25th at 4 PM, COVID-19 Overcoming 'Street Concert' Held... In Front of Godeok Gracium Shopping Complex, Featuring Classical, Popera, and Acoustic Guitar Performances
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) will hold a 'Visiting Healing Concert' at 4 p.m. on the 25th in front of the Godeok Gracium shopping complex (Exit 1 of Sangil-dong Station) to comfort residents exhausted by COVID-19.
The event will be hosted by MC Park Ga-hee, a well-known announcer and radio DJ from Seongnam FM, and for 90 minutes, gentle melodies will bring the fresh feeling of spring with string classical music, elegant yet powerful popera, and charming 70s and 80s acoustic guitar performances.
As the concert is prepared to wish for overcoming COVID-19, it is expected to provide residents with an opportunity to recharge through cultural enjoyment and contribute to revitalizing the stagnant local commercial district.
Considering the social distancing period, the district plans to strictly enforce quarantine guidelines on-site, such as maintaining a 2-meter distance between audience members and wearing masks.
Before and after the performance, the surrounding area will be disinfected, and to prepare for emergencies, an ambulance and disinfection specialists will be deployed to ensure no exposure to infection occurs.
