"Viewers Are the Stars" LG HelloVision Launches 'Iutjip Creator'
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] LG HelloVision announced on the 23rd that it is launching the viewer participation program 'Neighbor Creator' and will hold a monthly contest for viewer-produced videos on different themes for six months until November. As a region-based cable TV, the aim is to provide viewers with opportunities to share stories from their daily lives.
'Neighbor Creator' is a broadcast program composed entirely of viewer-produced videos. It expands connections not only with local and silver creators but also with university students by region, youth video production clubs, and viewer media centers, providing a stepping stone for aspiring creators to grow. It airs every Saturday at 10 a.m. on LG HelloVision's regional channel (Hello TV channel 25).
The video contest theme for May, the ‘Month of Family,’ is ‘Children’s Day Gifts.’ This theme considers the difficulty of making memories through family outdoor activities due to the extension of social distancing measures and fine dust issues. LG HelloVision set this month’s theme so families can prepare memorable Children’s Day gifts and capture the children’s reactions when opening them on video. It is expected to become an unforgettable memory for the children who will see themselves on the TV program.
