[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) held a meeting on the morning of the 22nd at 8:30 AM, chaired by Mayor Yuseong Hoon, in the small conference room on the 9th floor of the district office to discuss support measures for revitalizing the local economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the meeting, hosted by the Planning and Finance Bureau and the Economic Environment Bureau, heads of various departments attended to share and review 30 detailed support measures across four areas: operation of the Alley Economy Support Center to oversee livelihood economy support projects, support for small business owners and SMEs, COVID-19 damage assistance, consumption promotion support, and job support.

Mayor Yuseong Hoon of Geumcheon-gu stated, “The economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 crisis is prolonged, and the damage to the local area is worsening. Although the livelihood economy cannot recover in a short time, I ask each department to carefully review the support measures for each issue and implement them without delay, directly listen to residents’ difficulties, and reflect them in policies.”
