Yongin City Installs 'Logo Lights' at 7 Illegal Dumping Sites
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province installed 'Logo Lights' on the 22nd at seven locations in Cheoin-gu Idong-eup, Giheung-gu Mabuk, Eonnam-dong, and other areas where illegal dumping of garbage frequently occurs.
Considering that illegal dumping mainly happens late at night or early in the morning, the Logo Lights were installed as a measure to prevent illegal dumping and raise awareness.
Logo Lights are devices that project light through lenses with phrases or images, displaying them on the ground or walls, making them highly visible at night.
At the locations where Logo Lights were installed this time, messages such as "No Illegal Dumping! Do not secretly throw away trash" and "This is not a place to dispose of garbage" appear on the ground from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day.
