Hyundai Department Store to Hold Audience-Free 'Online Fashion Show' on the 25th
‘Fashion Show’ Live Broadcast via Official YouTube Account
25 Small and Medium Fashion Brands Participating
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Hyundai Department Store announced on the 22nd that it will hold the '2020 Digital Live Fashion Show' on the 25th from 7 PM for three hours, streamed online without an audience, in collaboration with Gyeonggi-do Corporation. Gyeonggi-do Corporation is a company creating new business models to foster small and medium enterprises.
The '2020 Digital Live Fashion Show' will be broadcast through Hyundai Department Store’s official YouTube channel, 'Hyundai Department Store TV.' Additionally, in partnership with the Global Video Commerce Association, the video will be showcased through live channels on overseas online malls such as China’s Taobao and Southeast Asia’s largest online mall, Shopee.
Twenty-five fashion designer brands will participate in this fashion show. Representative brands include Manzi, Holly Number Seven, Gokori, Caie, Blida, DAB, and Ssesse.
The designers of the participating brands will directly take part in the fashion show to explain the latest fashion trends and the distinctive points of each brand. Moreover, about 30 influencers will also participate in the event and conduct live broadcasts through their own accounts.
Hyundai Department Store will also hold a 'Digital Fashion Week' from the 24th of this month to the 3rd of next month on The Hyundai.com and Hyundai H Mall, selling new products from the brands participating in this fashion show.
The reason Hyundai Department Store is holding the audience-free '2020 Digital Live Fashion Show' is that many domestic and international fashion shows have been canceled or postponed due to the impact of COVID-19, causing fashion brands to miss opportunities to introduce new products and face difficulties in sales.
