US COVID-19 Cases Reach 800,000... Global Total Hits 2.5 Million

According to Johns Hopkins University, as of 1:47 PM local time on the 21st, the number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. stands at 804,194. On that day alone, 17,226 new cases were added. The number of infections in the U.S. increased by 100,000 in just four days after surpassing 700,000 on the 17th.
