Actor Kim Hong-seok Passes Away from Cardiac Arrest at Age 63
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Actor Kim Hong-seok passed away on the 19th due to cardiac arrest. He was 63 years old.
On the 20th, the Korea Broadcasting Actors Labor Union announced that Kim Hong-seok had died the previous day.
The deceased debuted in 1977 as an MBC public recruitment talent. He became known to the public by appearing in dramas such as "Under One Roof," "Seoul Earthen Pot," "Jealousy," and "Autumn in My Heart."
Afterwards, he continued his acting career by appearing in various broadcasting programs including KBS 2TV's "Couple Clinic - Love and War," MBC's "Basics of Entertainment," "Bestseller Theater - Unknown Matters," and the sitcom "Under One Roof."
It is known that he was recently preparing for drama production and was active as a director of the Entertainer Cooperative, dedicating efforts to nurturing juniors.
