According to Munsu-dong (Dongjang Park In-dae) on the 20th, around the time of leaving work on the 13th, an anonymous donor left a letter, 200,000 won in cash, and 75 masks, saying it was a modest but small token of sincerity.
The anonymous donor's letter read, “When I was young, my family circumstances were difficult, and many days were spent in tears. At times like that, what gave me great strength was the warm hands of those around me.” It continued, “With the feeling of repaying the debt I owe to those people, I am sending a small amount of masks and a small token of sincerity.”
It also included encouragement and support for medical staff, public officials, police, firefighters, and quarantine volunteers, saying, “You public officials must stay strong so that our citizens can feel safe and gain greater strength. Even when you are tired and exhausted, please never forget that the citizens are always cheering you on from behind.”
On the 13th, an anonymous donor visited the Munsu-dong Community Center and donated masks and cash to be used for neighbors in need and the elderly.
