Netmarble Subsidiary Kabam Develops 'Disney Mirror Guardians' with Disney
Beta Test Scheduled to be Conducted in the Philippines
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Netmarble announced on the 20th that its North American subsidiary Kabam is developing the mobile action role-playing game (RPG) 'Disney Mirror Guardians' in collaboration with Disney.
Disney Mirror Guardians is a mobile game featuring popular characters from Disney and Pixar, set in a new world called the 'Mirrorverse' that players have never experienced before.
In this game, characters are newly designed versions of existing ones. Users form a powerful team of guardians with these characters to protect the world from evil forces threatening the Mirrorverse.
Tim Fields, CEO of Kabam, said, "We plan to bring together various popular characters from Disney and Pixar into one world and present them as entirely new types of heroes," adding, "We will work closely with Disney to deliver a more immersive and captivating adventure."
