[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Korea Yakult announced on the 20th that its Daegu branch will carry out a customer participation donation campaign called the "Movement with the Heart of Customers (Go.Ma.Um) Campaign."
The "Go.Ma.Um" campaign was planned to support the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, which suffered significant damage due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). In line with this purpose, the campaign is conducted only in the jurisdiction of Korea Yakult's Daegu branch.
The campaign runs until June 20, during which 3,000 KRW per customer who orders Korea Yakult products will be automatically donated. This allows customers to express their care for neighbors in need in the region while also protecting their health with probiotic products.
All donations are provided by Korea Yakult and will be delivered to the Community Chest of Korea Daegu·Gyeongbuk after the campaign ends. The funds will be used to support vulnerable groups within the region.
Kim Du-gyeom, head of the Daegu branch, said, "We hope that this donation activity with our customers will provide a small help to the residents of Daegu and Gyeongbuk who are struggling due to COVID-19."
