KT Skylife, 'Love Antenna' National Story Contest Open for Submissions
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT Skylife will hold a public contest for the 2020 first half “Love Antenna” national stories from the 20th for one month in collaboration with ▲Korea Association of Welfare Institutions for the Disabled ▲Korea Council on Social Welfare ▲KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation ▲Kakao Together Value.
“Love Antenna” is a representative social contribution activity of satellite broadcasting that donates UHD TVs, Skylife’s UHD receivers, and free viewing rights of broadcasting services to facilities for the disabled and vulnerable groups who have poor broadcasting viewing environments such as hard-to-reach areas or need to acquire culture and information through TV.
Since 2016, Skylife has been conducting public contests for national stories every first and second half of the year to find places that truly need the benefits of “Love Antenna,” such as media marginalized groups due to regional characteristics and welfare facilities where TV viewing is difficult, and has supported ultra-high-definition broadcasting facilities in a total of 240 locations nationwide so far.
Anyone in the Republic of Korea can apply for this story contest by writing the place and story that need the Love Antenna through the form announced on the Skylife website and submitting it by email. The company will review the submitted stories, select the recipients of the 2020 first half “Love Antenna” donation, and announce the results on the website on the 29th of next month.
