Gyeonggi Office of Education to Accept 'Academic Credit Bank System' Applications from the 21st
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will accept applications for the '2020 2nd Quarter Credit Bank System' from the 21st at the Uijeongbu Gyeonggi Education Office Northern Branch and the Suwon Gyeonggi Lifelong Education Learning Center.
The application targets are ▲ those who wish to register as learners in the Credit Bank System ▲ those who want to have their learning outcomes recognized as credits ▲ those who want to obtain degrees or qualifications in the future through credit recognition.
On-site applications for the Credit Bank System will be accepted from the 21st to the 29th on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, applications can be made by visiting the National Institute for Lifelong Education Credit Bank Center (Learner Call Center 1600-0400) or by logging in with a certified certificate on the Credit Bank System website (www.cb.or.kr).
Choi Hee-sook, Director of Lifelong Education and Welfare Division at the Gyeonggi Office of Education, said, "We hope the Credit Bank System will help realize a lifelong learning society and support learners' self-actualization," and urged, "To prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community, learners are encouraged to actively use online applications."
The Credit Bank System is a system under the 'Act on the Recognition of Credits, etc.' that recognizes various forms of learning and qualifications inside and outside schools as credits. When credits accumulate and meet certain criteria, it is possible to obtain a degree.
