Shinsegae Central City Installs 'Fine Dust Clean Zone' Rest Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsegae Central City announced on the 19th that it has collaborated with Seocho District Office to install an ‘outdoor air purifier’ that can protect users from fine dust. It will be installed in front of the main entrance of Central City Terminal and will start operating from the 20th.
The outdoor air purifier introduced for citizens this time is a type of air curtain made using domestic patented technology. It increases the density of purified clean air through a filter to block the inflow of external fine dust. This is why people can breathe clean air near the air purifier even in open outdoor spaces.
This device automatically operates when the concentration of fine dust and ultrafine dust is ‘bad,’ and it has a fine dust measurement and notification monitor inside. In addition, it is a resting area available all year round, equipped with convenient features such as wireless smartphone charging, dehumidifying and cooling functions in summer, and heated bench functions in winter.
