Jeju Air Also Extends Elite Member Qualification Maintenance by 6 Months
Outstanding Member Grade Evaluation Period Extended from 3 Years to 3 Years and 6 Months
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 17th that, considering the COVID-19 pandemic situation, it will extend the elite membership qualification period from the existing 3 years to 3 years and 6 months, an extension of 6 months.
Jeju Air's membership tiers are classified based on the number of flights taken during the qualification period as ▲VIP (50 or more flights) ▲GOLD (20 or more flights) ▲SILVER+ (10 or more flights). With this extension of the evaluation period, Jeju Air customers can maintain their elite membership status for an additional 6 months.
Additionally, Jeju Air will uniformly extend the validity period of paid membership services such as J-Pass, J-Pass+, and Sports Membership by 180 days. According to Jeju Air, these paid membership services were already extended by 90 days on March 31, so this time they are being extended by an additional 90 days.

A Jeju Air official explained, "Considering the current situation where air travel is practically difficult due to the spread of COVID-19, we decided to operate a flexible membership policy prioritizing customer convenience and minimizing disadvantages."
