Korea Forest Welfare Institute Supports Overcoming COVID-19 with 'Poi' Emoticons

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Welfare Institute is supporting the overcoming of COVID-19 with an event giving away emoticons of the institute’s official character ‘Poi (FoWI)’.
According to the Forest Welfare Institute on the 16th, the emoticon event will run from today until the supply of 8,000 sets is exhausted.
Participation involves accessing the event’s YouTube page, subscribing and liking, watching the related video for more than 15 seconds in the address bar of the main text, and then entering personal information in sequence.
The emoticons provided through the event are 16 types of animated stickers featuring various expressions of the forest welfare character ‘Poi’ and Poi’s friend ‘Mari’.
The event is held with the will of the Forest Welfare Institute to help the public recover immunity and health through forest healing along with overcoming the COVID-19 crisis. The emoticons can be used for 90 days.
Meanwhile, the 16th is also the day the Forest Welfare Institute celebrates its 4th anniversary since its establishment.

Lee Chang-jae, director of the Forest Welfare Institute, said, “In a situation where all citizens are striving to overcome COVID-19, the Forest Welfare Institute decided to hold this event to add strength to the support.” He added, “Once COVID-19 ends, the Forest Welfare Institute will also work to provide various programs so that the public can spend healthy and beneficial time in the forest through forest healing.”
