[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Samsung Electronics announced on the 16th that it will hold an online 'Tech Seminar' focused on the 2020 QLED TV lineup until the 17th.
Marking its 9th year, this seminar introduces Samsung TV's latest technologies and services to specialized media and industry experts in video and audio fields across major cities worldwide, while gathering diverse feedback from participants.
The seminar began in Europe on the 14th and is being conducted regionally in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, China, and other areas. This year, instead of offline events, the seminar connects each region online from Korea, using a 'webinar' format that enables interactive multimedia presentations.
The theme of the Tech Seminar centers on the latest technologies and services applied to the 2020 QLED TV, focusing on ▲ the 'AI Quantum Processor 8K,' which enhances image upscaling with deep learning technology ▲ AI-based sound innovations such as 'Q Symphony' and 'Moving Sound+' ▲ upgraded smart features including 'Multi View' and 'Digital Butler.'
Samsung Electronics' QLED 8K has been consecutively recognized as the 'Best TV' in the US and Europe. The UK IT media outlet T3 awarded it a perfect score, calling it "a masterpiece of 8K, the best TV on Earth," while the US business magazine Forbes described it as "a TV with innovative design and astonishing picture quality."
