Pohang City Advances Activity Fees to 7,000 Participants in Senior Job Program
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City announced on the 14th that it will prepay activity fees to participants in the senior job program, which has been suspended since last month due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, the existing 7,161 participants in the senior job program (based on public interest activity participants) can receive up to 270,000 KRW per person in advance. The prepaid activity fees will be settled through extended activity hours once the COVID-19 situation stabilizes.
The city is also planning to provide Onnuri gift certificates worth about 60,000 KRW per month or 'Pohang Sarang Gift Certificates' as incentives along with wages for four months after the resumption of the senior job program.
