According to Gwangsan Fire Station on the 14th, Chief Moon carried out fire prevention consulting at the Gwangju Women's University Municipal Universiade Gymnasium, the vote counting center, to ensure smooth and safe vote counting.
The fire prevention consulting focused on ▲on-site guidance to eliminate fire hazards and emphasizing fire safety ▲maintenance of fire-fighting facilities and verification of evacuation routes ▲additional placement of fire extinguishers considering the seating arrangement of vote counting staff after consultation with the Election Commission ▲training for related personnel on initial fire response skills such as using fire extinguishers and indoor fire hydrants.
Gwangsan Fire Station plans to strengthen fire prevention patrols and operations until the vote counting is completed to prevent safety accidents at the counting center. Additionally, on the day of the vote counting, one fire truck and five firefighters will be deployed on-site to promptly respond in case of emergencies and ensure the safety of the counting center.
