[Photo] Korea Solvay Donates Masks to Low-Income Residents in Bukahyeon-dong
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) announced that on the 13th, Korea Solvay, located in the Ewha Womans University Industry-Academic Cooperation Building, donated 1,226 masks to the Bukahyeon-dong Community Center to be distributed to low-income residents, warming the community.
Korea Solvay has regularly participated in volunteer activities for Bukahyeon-dong residents, such as sharing kimchi for kimjang and mural painting.
This time, masks secured through self-purchase and employee donations were delivered by CEO Seo Young-hoon and Executive Director Lee Seung-eun during their visit to the Bukahyeon-dong Community Center.
Seo Young-hoon, CEO of Korea Solvay Service, said, “I hope these masks will be well delivered to those who find it difficult to purchase masks due to financial hardships and that this small contribution will help us overcome COVID-19 together.”
