Seongbuk-gu, Introduction to Online Lifelong Learning Program on District Website
Practicing Social Distancing with Family through Online Lifelong Learning
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) introduced online lifelong learning programs available for home use on the district's website for residents who are mentally and physically exhausted due to the occurrence of 'Corona Blue (depression)'.
'Corona Blue' is a newly coined term combining 'Corona19' and 'Blue,' meaning depression, referring to the increasing number of people feeling helplessness and anxiety caused by disrupted daily life and social isolation due to refraining from outdoor activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Accordingly, the district introduced these programs on its website to enable residents to more easily access information and utilize the programs comfortably.
Through the Seongbuk-gu website (http://www.sb.go.kr), people of all ages can access K-MOOC, Seoul Metropolitan Lifelong Learning Portal, Culture Portal, Neulbaeum, Knowledge, KOCW, and for children and adolescents, Edunet, e-Hakssut, School On, and WeDoRang are available.
