Im Ji-seon, CEO of Bohae Brewery, Joins 'Relay Campaign to Support Flower Farmers'
Next Runner Designated as OCI Vice Chairman Lee Woo-hyun
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Lim Ji-seon, CEO of Bohae Brewery, participated in the ‘Flower Farmers Support Relay Campaign’ to help flower farmers struggling due to COVID-19.
The ‘Flower Farmers Support Relay’ is a campaign conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to assist flower farmers facing difficulties as various events such as entrance ceremonies and graduation ceremonies have been canceled due to COVID-19.
Participants take photos holding bouquets or flowerpots and then nominate the next participant, similar to the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge.’
So far, CEOs of major companies such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and LG have participated, along with public institutions, financial sectors, YouTuber creators, and movie actors, all leading efforts to save flower farms.
CEO Lim Ji-seon joined the ‘Flower Farmers Support Relay Campaign’ after being nominated by Jo Yeon-ju, president of Hansol Group, and nominated Lee Woo-hyun, vice chairman of OCI Group, as the next participant.
