Binggrae Launches First Sparkling Water 'Santorini'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Binggrae announced on the 14th that it has launched its first sparkling water product, 'Santorini.'
Santorini is a Greek island located in the Aegean Sea, known for its stunning scenery, making it a popular backdrop for commercials, movies, and photography. Binggrae chose the name Santorini for the product to emphasize the clean and refreshing taste of sparkling water.
Santorini is available in four varieties: Plain, Lime, Lemon, and Grapefruit, characterized by strong carbonation. The intense carbonation provides a long-lasting tingling sensation that fills the mouth with freshness, while the clean aftertaste ensures a smooth swallow. Additionally, the fruit-flavored products offer the refreshing zest of Mediterranean fruits, allowing for a richer taste experience.

Binggrae explained that it launched the new product in response to the growing sparkling water market. The domestic sparkling water market is steadily expanding, reaching approximately 100 billion KRW. In particular, consumers sensitive to sugar content are increasingly replacing carbonated soft drinks with sparkling water. Binggrae plans to raise product awareness through online channels during the initial launch phase and expand sales channels to retail stores, convenience stores, and large supermarkets.
