[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] President Moon Jae-in will attend the 'ASEAN+3 Video Summit' at 4 p.m. on the 14th to respond to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The meeting is expected to discuss international cooperation measures for COVID-19 response and economic exchanges.

President Moon plans to propose ways to strengthen health cooperation between countries and emphasize the importance of maintaining global supply chains and ensuring essential personnel exchanges and movements to minimize negative impacts in the economic sector. 'ASEAN+3' is a forum consisting of the ten member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the three countries of Korea, China, and Japan. The chair country is Vietnam.
In particular, after this video meeting, a leaders' declaration containing inter-country cooperation measures is expected to be adopted.
