WHO "Reviewing Reports on COVID-19 Repositive Cases in Korea"
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on the 11th (local time) that it is reviewing related reports regarding cases in South Korea where patients who had recovered from COVID-19 and were released from quarantine tested positive again.
On the same day, WHO stated, "We are closely communicating with clinical experts and striving to obtain more information."
It added, "Since COVID-19 is a new disease, more epidemiological data is needed to draw conclusions," and emphasized, "It is important to ensure that procedures are properly followed when collecting samples to test suspected patients."
