Minister Park Young-sun Visits Gangwon Region... Opening of Sosin-gong Sokcho Center

Park Young-sun, Minister of SMEs and Startups (fifth from the left), is attending the opening ceremony of the Sokcho Center of the Small Enterprise and Market Service held at the annex of Sokcho City Hall, Gangwon Province, on the 10th, and is taking a commemorative photo with officials.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 10th that Minister Park Young-sun visited the Gangwon region and attended the opening ceremony of the Sokcho Center of the Small Enterprise and Market Service.

On the day, Minister Park attended the opening ceremony of the Small Enterprise and Market Service regional center held at the annex of Sokcho City Hall, encouraged the staff, and checked the status of policy fund execution. The Sokcho Center of the Small Enterprise and Market Service is an expanded and reorganized office from the Gangneung Center Sokcho branch office.

Minister Park said, "I heard that the Sokcho office is struggling despite having a small number of staff," and added, "We will strive to ensure that the Gangwon region does not become a blind spot for policy funds."

Jinseong Auto Dismantling Yard was damaged by a large wildfire in the Gangwon area last April, and Minister Park visited the site again after one year to check on the restored condition.

Minister Park also revisited 'Jinseong Scrap Yard' located in Sokcho and 'Nonggamatchip Jaetnori' in Goseong, which were among the wildfire damage sites in the Gangwon region she visited for the first time after her inauguration a year ago, to check the progress of damage recovery.
