Gyeonggi-do, Establishes 4 New Childcare Centers
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will establish four new 'Hub-type Childcare Centers' and operate them from the second half of this year.
The hub childcare centers will systematize and provide integrated support for the operation of various childcare facilities such as Together Childcare Centers, Childcare-type Small Libraries, and Childcare Communities currently operating in each region of the province by district.
Like the childcare facilities currently in operation, they will provide childcare services for children aged 6 to 12 during after-school hours, vacations, and other times when childcare blind spots occur.
Municipalities wishing to establish a hub childcare center can apply electronically from today until the 24th on the websites of Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Family and Women Research Institute.
The province will review the business plans of the applying municipalities, evaluating accessibility and user convenience, and select the installation target areas next month.
