Hyundai Oilbank Conducts Recruitment Through Non-Face-to-Face Method
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyundai Oilbank, currently conducting recruitment for new college graduate employees in the first half of the year, is introducing a non-face-to-face method in some parts of the hiring process.
Hyundai Oilbank, which closed document submissions on the 5th, plans to replace the written test scheduled for next month for those who pass the document screening with an artificial intelligence (AI) competency test. Through this, the existing recruitment procedure, which consisted of document screening - written test - interview, will be changed to document screening - AI competency test - interview.
The AI competency test is a tool where artificial intelligence conducts online Q&A and games with applicants to evaluate their problem-solving abilities and other skills.
A Hyundai Oilbank official stated, "We changed the written test reflecting the social distancing campaign and the characteristics of a generation familiar with online," adding, "We are also reviewing various improvement plans for the subsequent interview process."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Oilbank has also replaced the offline recruitment briefing sessions with online formats. They created a section on their homepage featuring stories from seniors to provide applicants with various information about corporate culture, recruitment tips, and work-related details,
